This Safari will enable you to experience the highlights of the famous Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. The safari start from Arusha and goes through Olduvai Gorge where fossils of human were discovered, proceed to Serengeti for spectacular game viewing. Finally, windup the safari by going 2000ft down the Ngorongoro Crater. It’s known to be the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera.

 6 days Serengeti & Ngorongoro safari itinerary:

DAY 1: JRO-ARUSHA.

Our Tanzania representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Meals: Bed and Breakfast “Accommodation: Kibo Palace Hotel.”

DAY 2: ARUSHA-SERENGETI.

After breakfast depart for Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. You will have an evening game drive in search of wild animals.

DAY 3-4: SERENGETI.

Full day in Serengeti plains, search for wild game you might have missed the previous game drives. Morning and afternoon game drives.

DAY 5: SERENGETI-NGORONGORO.

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater where a 4-wheel drive vehicle will take you 2000ft down to the crater, enjoy picnic lunch at the crater, ascend back to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO-JRO.

After breakfast drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight back home.
